Fearless Captivations is a lifestyle blog inspiring adventurous living with eats, travels, and celebrations. I hope this blog inspires you to explore the world, try new foods, gather your community, and ultimately, live your best life. I hope to inspire you to live a life that makes you fearless and captivated.

I’ve been an Austinite for nearly 20 years, and I’m a marketer by day, blogger by night, and foodie all the time. Here are a few facts about me:

  • Wherever I am, I rarely turn down a cupcake, IPA, or kale salad.
  • I love all food experiences, especially tasting menus, food tours, and cooking classes.
  • I’m passionate about my local food community, from farms to restaurants. See my challenge of a year eating locally.
  • I love to travel! My top recommendation is Egypt.
  • My travel is usually combined with scuba diving. I’ve done over 100 dives in 10+ places.
  • One of my favorite foodie memories is eating a 21-course dessert meal in Indonesia.
  • I’m a self-described “retired” long-distance runner. I’ve run a marathon and 10 half-marathons.
  • My life list has a lot of checkmarks (yep, I’m an enneagram type 1).

I created Fearless Captivations in 2012 to share my adventures, whether it’s an Austin restaurant I loved or a trip to a new country. My blog will give you plenty of details to make planning your next trip or party easier, but it will also inspire you to make the experience your own.
