The holidays are here and that means holiday shopping! Blue Genie Art Bazaar is a local place to shop and my go-to place to support local artists and companies. In this post, you’ll learn more about Blue Genie Art Bazaar and see some of my recommendations.
Blue Genie Art Bazaar has long been one of my favorite places to shop during the holidays. They moved into their current location off Airport Blvd, across from the ACC Highland campus a few years ago. Did you know over 400 artists apply to be a vendor each year? About 200 are chosen and all are local to Austin or regional.
What I love about Blue Genie Art Bazaar is shopping for many local artists in one place! I’ve discovered many of my favorite artists/companies and found a lot of great gifts at the bazaar. Where you spend your money makes a difference, so I encourage you to keep your money local.
Blue Genie Art Bazaar also has an online shop for those who don’t want to shop in person. You can have it shipped to you or pick it up in person.
