Another event for this blogger meetup happened this month, and it was lots of fun! It’s always helpful to take online blogger friendships offline and geek out with each other about strategies in real life. In the caption of my Instagram photo, I had written this about the event:

New letter requests are up on the More Love Letters website! These are people who could need an extra encouraging word and you can send them off to be included in their letter bundle. A piece of paper, a pen, a postage stamp and 15 minutes is all you need bring some light and love. Check out the letter requests here.

Randy Rogers Band + Ellie Goulding
I’m glad two concert opportunities popped up with a few days notice. Boyfriend and I got our fill of country with Randy Rogers Band and my friend Gloria and I danced it out with Ellie Goulding. I’ve seen Ellie in concert once before but this concert reminded me how talented she is! Her acoustic version of her song Devotion gave me goosebumps. Have you seen any great concerts lately?

Round Rock Express Game

Welcome to baseball season! Baseball is a sport where you can spend a lot of time walking around the stadium looking for chili hot dogs and craft beer and still won’t miss any part of the game. Kidding aside, it was fun night with an exciting top of the ninth win for the Round Rock Express. I’ve crossed off Austin’s attractions for baseball, football, soccer and hockey. What’s next? Roller derby?!

It’s hard to choose only one blog post! This month, I took content off my posting schedule I knew I wasn’t thrilled about and while it made for a lighter month of posts, I’m glad I can look at this month’s posts and say my heart was in them. Maintaining a blog is a time-consuming and emotion-consuming job, and I strive for content I’m proud of and am excited to share. My favorite post was the Party Themes I’m Obsessing Over because it was so fun! I’m also glad I got to share my favorite sushi spot and recommendations for fearlessly living through sadness.

All The Things We Know
This post by Joy the Baker sums up my month. It felt unnecessarily hard. I beat myself up a lot. I felt lost about my purpose and goals. But that post reminded me that all is not lost and all is not what I might think it is. It’s good to stop the negative thoughts in your head and remind yourself of what you can do, what you know, and what is actually true.
