The Holidays
How are you doing? Indulging like I am?! I’ve enjoyed this month so much! From attending two work parties to hosting two personal parties, including this girls’ brunch, (all in the same week!), there was plenty of Christmas cheer. I won a Ninja Fit, gained two fish pets (Sparkles and Gertie), and spent the holiday weekend with family in Dallas. What was your favorite part of this month?

Birthday Celebrations
While my birthday is Nov. 30, my festivities weren’t until the weekend. I opted for a simple dinner at Shake Shack and night out with a staycation at Archer Hotel. You can see all the photos and details in this post!

What are you watching?
I have a long list of shows to watch! I still haven’t seen Stranger Things or Westworld. I recently started Mozart in the Jungle. What shows are you obsessed with recently?

Recovering from Thailand
It took about a week to get back into the swing of things after returning from Thailand. We’ve been excited to tell everyone about our adventures and posts are slowly being put up here! Grilled Cheese for a Cause
I recently learned about Melted, a grilled cheese food truck in Austin created by 16-year-old Anna Hutto. This truck is giving back by donating proceeds to International Justice Mission, an organization dedicated to eradicating human slavery. Ran the Decker Challenge…Again!
Every time I’ve run the Decker Challenge – a very hilly half-marathon in Austin – I vow I’d never do it again. Lo, and behold – this year was the third time I’ve done it! It was a good run. I survived the third run for the Austin Distance Challenge.

Wig Party
My friend Kate planned a fabulous Wig Party for some blogger friends. You don’t want to miss reading this post! I definitely recommend this activity for your next get-together with the girls.

Getting Ready for 2017
Are you ready to start 2017 off with a bang? I’ve already signed up for two challenges. A Sweet Pea Chef’s 21-day breakfast challenge will give me recipes to make sure I make healthy breakfasts in January. Yoga with Adriene’s 31 Days of Yoga will send me daily videos. And if you’re not feeling too optimistic about 2017 because of 2016, give this a read.
