This intimate holiday brunch featured copper and greenery décor and mouth-watering eats!
I love pretty parties. When I plan parties, I always gravitate towards the décor first. It sets the mood and helps tie everything together. In planning this intimate holiday affair, I enlisted the help of my friend Kathy. She is skilled in and passionate about making beautiful and creative settings. (You should check out her website and Etsy shop).
She made a pretty hanging garland and a garland runner for the table. The hanging garland is coupled with a copper paper garland she sewed together. There was also paper garland draped on the table.
Kathy also hand-lettered our pretty name cards.
For the food, we had top-your-own sweet potato crostinis, a frittata, cinnamon rolls from Upper Crust Bakery, and a beautiful salted caramel and chocolate cake from Crema Bakery. Everything was so good!
I really liked the crostinis and already have plans to do them for a future brunch!
These cinnamon rolls from Upper Crust Bakery – DELISH.
The salted caramel and chocolate cake from Crema Bakery had layers of salted caramel buttercream and chocolate and was topped with caramel. All the heart eyes! What is the equivalent of heart eyes in my mouth?
After brunch, we gathered around for a DIY – mason jar cookie mixes. It was slightly messy but a fairly simple DIY project. We customized our own with chocolate, peanut butter, and/or butterscotch chips.
Then we decorated the jars and made cute tags. They turned out great, and I love how everyone’s jar looked adorable and unique! Mine has already been gifted to one of my friends.
While it was a little crazy preparing for the party beforehand, it was a relaxing brunch to get ready for a busy holiday weekend with family. The party theme is very versatile and can be used wherever you want to be festive but also earthy. Hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season!
