One of my resolutions this year is to get back to my letter writing habit. To combine some creativity to it, I’m DIYing my own notecards, too. Remember my DIY Marbled Heart Cards for Valentine’s Day? Since pizza has been on my mind lately, I thought I would send some pizza love to my friends with these DIY Pizza Greeting Cards.
While there are many sources for cute cards and stationary, I like to create my own to say or look exactly as I want it. Getting blank card and envelope packs from a craft store has been handy for this. I also used my go-to Sharpie Pen and colored pencils for the illustrations. Making your own cards helps you get a little creative and puts personal touches to the cards.
First, here are some toppings for the pizza.
Now, you can combine all the pieces however you want. Practice on scratch paper to perfect your toppings and sketch out your lettering to go over with the Sharpie pen.
- Pizza like no one’s watching
- Dem pizza slices
- Pizza is for lovers
- My mind says abs. My heart says pizza.
- Pepperoni
- Brazos: Canadian bacon, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, jalapenos and feta cheese
- MoPac: Canadian bacon, pepperoni, sausage, onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, olives
- Downtown Special: pepperoni, sausage, black olives and mushrooms
My favorites were the Pepperoni and Downtown Special. If you live in Central Texas and would like to try the pizzas for yourself, leave a comment telling me which pizza you’d most like to try and I’ll pick three random winners on Friday, June 3 at 5 p.m. You might even get a DIY pizza card with the coupons. 😉
Show a pizza your heart to someone you love with a DIY card!
