I’ve been eyeing Yacht Week, a days-long sailing adventure, because it looks fun but I’m not too interested in their activities, mainly the nightly docking for a big rave-like party. I found MedSailors recently and they seem similar but less on the partying and more on the excursions. I think it would be a fun experience with a group of friends. A New Kind of Camping
The pictures from Alison Turner’s blog have me convinced that I need to stay in a Forest Service Fire Lookout in my future. These towers are no longer active and being in remote places usually give incredible views. They provide a structure (no tent needed) but do not have running water or electricity.
