Marfa, Texas has long been on my to-travel list but the journey there is a little tedious (almost eight hour drive from Austin or a flight to El Paso and 3 hour drive) and it’s a good stay for an extended weekend. I told you about the upcoming Kickstarter for The Purpose Hotel and I’m excited to tell you it is now live! When staying in this hotel, every part of your stay will benefit a life. The products, like soap and furniture, will be created by companies making a difference. Your fees will go to amazing causes fighting human trafficking and improving the lives of children. The first hotel will be in Nashville and the goal is to build hotels all over the world. Their deadline to raise money is September 2nd.

I’m so excited to tell you I’ve booked a trip to Thailand in November! My boyfriend and I will be traveling to six places in two weeks, including a liveaboard scuba trip. I’m excited to experience the culture, eat all the food and relax on the beach! If you have any recommendations on places to stay and things to see in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, and Phuket, please let me know.
