Standing “Seats” Coming to Flights?
A budget airline in Columbia is considering removing its normal seats and replacing them with standing seats. They don’t look very comfortable! I’m all for cheaper flights but not at the expense of comfort and safety.

In Germany, an artist has built a full-scale replica of the Parthenon with 100,000 banned books on a site where Nazis burned books. What a sight!

I’ve been following Kusama’s art so I was excited to see that the Dallas Museum of Art has secured the Kusama pumpkin infinity room. It will be on display October 2017 to February 2018.

Best Travel Shoes?
I tend to do a lot of walking when I travel, exploring the city and enjoying activities. I usually wear classic canvas TOMS, though for my Thailand trip, I got their black slip-on Avalons which I love. I like that they’re comfortable, could pass for day and night wear, and matches with everything. I’ve also heard recommendations for Teva, Naturalizer, Chacos, Crocs, Birkenstock, and Sanuk. Do you have a go-to travel shoe?

21 New World Heritage Sites
UNESCO voted to add 21 new World Heritage Sites to the list. The decision is somewhat controversial because of cultural differences. Here’s the full list of the new sites. A World Heritage Site is a landmark or area that are protected for their cultural, historical, or scientific significance. Places like Stonehenge and cities like Istanbul are on the list of 1,073 sites.
