Wanderlust for Antarctica
I’m cold just looking at these photos from Antarctica but also wanting to visit so badly! I think this is up there with the Galapagos Islands, though I’m sure is a lot harder and more expensive to get to.
Portugal
I haven’t forgotten about you, Portugal! This country has been on my to-visit list for a while and will continue to be for at least the next two years. So, if you’ve been there or if you go there before me, please, tell me how wonderful it is and ask me why I haven’t been there yet. Here’s a post about spending 36 hours in Lisbon.
Sunscreen
I’m the owner of some awesome tan lines after my Cayman Islands and Miami vacation. The back of my legs has three shades: normal, swimsuit, and shorty wetsuit. I spent a bit of my vacay with a sunburnt face. (My fault. Don’t forget to re-apply, kids!) But, I did try out the Stream2Sea product line. They make biodegradable sunscreen, lotion, shampoo, and more. Did you know certain ingredients in sunscreen are toxic to coral reefs? Read more on the Stream2Sea website.

I’ve heard about Austin’s Weird Homes Tour every year but also seem to miss it every year! This article gives a little background on the tour that has expanded to multiple cities. I’ve been on a homes tour and it was fun to see how owners and architects brought their ideas to life.

See that humongous yacht in the photo at the top? We saw it parked in the bay in Grand Cayman, and it was humongous. One day we’ll rent/own a million dollar yacht and sail around the Caribbean. One can dream. 😉
