Austin Bachelorette Pole Dancing
VAMPS, which stands for Vertical Aerial Movement and Pole Studio, has all the ingredients for a fun afternoon. No experience is necessary, though it helps to have strong legs and core. The ideal size of a party is six people, and they can accommodate groups of up to 14.
Preparing for Class
Wear workout clothes, preferably shorts. Do not put on any moisturizer before class! This will give you a better grip on the pole. You may also want to bring a water bottle.
Pole Dancing Class
The owner Amber instructed our class, and I love how personalized and encouraging she was. Parties are 75 minutes long and the time flew by! We first started with light stretching, then we learned a couple of moves to put into a routine. We learned techniques for walking, connecting moves, moving our bodies, and doing spins. We went through the dance routine as we learned each new move, and then we put it all together at the end!
I had done one pole dancing class before and was nervous that this class would be awkward, but my sassy friends exuded confidence and Amber encouraged us to have fun.
What’s not pictured here is when the lights are off and the spotlights are spinning. So fun!
Since you’ll be using muscles you might not usually use, you may be sore the next day, but it’s nothing strenuous. A pole dancing class is a great idea for a bachelorette party or girls’ get-together!
