Austin is a great place for a bachelorette party! And you’ll need to find a place to stay. This post will share great options for your group.
Where to Stay
Choosing where to stay for your Austin bachelorette party is an important decision! It sets the tone for the trip and is the headquarters for all the fun. From my experience, staying in a house with your whole group is the most fun, but you can also split up in different rooms at a hotel.
In Austin, I recommend staying downtown to be close to activities and restaurants or at least close to where your activities are so you don’t have long drives.
Austin Stay Pricing
To choose your hotel, think about what area of town you want to be in and how easy your transportation will be.
Rates will depend on general demand and what’s going on in the city. If an event like SXSW or ACL is going on, rates will skyrocket, so double-check your dates before you finalize your plans. The farther from downtown you book, the cheaper your place can be.
On average, a one-night stay in Austin will range from $200 to $300 for a 3- or 4-star hotel. Remember to factor in hotel parking costs and note their policies on the number of people in a room.
For house rentals, one night averages around $500-600 for 6 people.
