Devils Pool Waterfall in Zambia
There is a place in Zambia where you can hang out in a natural pool that turns into a 338-feet waterfall. It’s like a natural infinity pool. This freaks me out! All I think about is the worst-case scenarios about slipping and falling over or water rushing you over. There’s a video showing the pool here. What do you think?!
Where to Travel in the Caribbean
In the aftermath of terrible destruction from the recent storms, parts of the Caribbean are in recovery mode. However, since many Caribbean thrive on tourism, it’s best to not cancel your plans if where you want to go is open for visitors. Some islands open for business: Bahamas, Aruba, Grand Cayman, and St. Lucia. You can get updates about each island at this website. Please also consider donating for recovery, which you can do on the website also. Some of these islands were severely impacted, meaning years of rebuilding, no tourism, and questions about jobs, on top of mourning the loss of life.

World’s Coolest Library
Um, this library is AMAZING. It’s the library Belle sees if Beauty and the Beast were set in the future and in space. The Tianjin Binhai Library is located in Northeast China near Beijing.
Paris’ First Nude Restaurant
France has plenty of options for hanging out in the nude and now there’s a nude restaurant in the mix. You undress after you enter and the 40-seat restaurant has no windows to see inside. Not my cup of tea but it’s an option when you visit Paris!
Learn a Language While Traveling
Visiting another country and want to learn the language? There are options for that! I can’t speak on the language program, but our stay at Nayara Hotel in Costa Rica was magical!
New Southwest Flights
Southwest Airlines has added non-stop flights from Ft. Lauderdale to Turks and Caicos Islands (new country) and to new cities – San Jose, Costa Rica and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
New Building in Shanghai
What they’ve been saying about China is true. The amount of economic and cultural growth makes the country and its fast-growing cities ones to watch and visit. While some might not like this new bronze building on Shanghai’s waterfront area called “The Bund,” I think it’s a noteworthy building to see and the movement of the exterior is unique.
Why Visit U.S. National Parks?
Visiting more National Parks is on my to-do list, especially after visiting Big Bend earlier this year. There are so many incredible places in nature to see! I love the project by More Than Just Parks and their beautiful videos. Check out one of their videos here:
