My friend Kate put together a fabulous wig party at Coco Coquette for some of our blogger friends. It was a fun night of trying on wigs and getting dolled up. Picking out a wig and wearing it on a night of festivities is perfect for a bachelorette party or girls weekend.
We first all went into the wig room to learn about the process of finding our “spirit wig” from Allyson, the host, owner, and wig expert. We were encouraged to let our inhibitions go and let our alter ego have a little fun. We looked at all the beautiful wigs and were so excited about the possibilities! Would we go natural or fantasy?
Then we went in two at a time to try on three different wigs. I tried two natural wigs before my purple wig said, “I’m yours!” What do you think?
After we found our spirit wigs, we got glammed up with fake eyelashes and makeup. I got some sparkly eyelashes and flashy eyeshadow to match my wig.
After everyone was ready, it was photo time! You bet we took lots of photos.
We had a Magbooth Photobooth (for photo strips and gifs) as an addition to the party and it was a good way to commemorate the event.
Kate also put together an incredible gift bag of goodies for us. THANK YOU to all the sponsors for making this party so much fun!
